    Photos of the board, or your Gerbers, BOM, and pick-and-place. Incomplete is fine.

    Scope, deliverables, price, and lead time after review. Nothing is ordered until you approve.

    Build and verify

    Samples are built, inspected, and checked against the requirements you agreed.

    Deliver and repeat

    Boards and documentation ship to you. Follow-on runs use the same files and the same contact.

Common questions

Can a project start with only a physical board?

Yes. Photos of both sides and a description of what the board does are enough for an assessment. You don't need to know the layer count or part numbers; a sample ships later if it's needed.

What files are needed for an assembly quote?

Gerber and drill files, a BOM, a pick-and-place file, quantity, and a target date. Assembly drawings help if you have them. Send what you have and the review lists anything missing.

Who does the engineering and manufacturing?

PCB Ramp works with engineering and manufacturing partners selected for each project and provides your project contact. The partners for your project are confirmed at quotation, and your files are shared only with those working on it.

Do you build the boards you reverse engineer?

Yes—that's usually the goal. Once samples are verified, prototype and follow-on production run through the same contact. You can also take the documentation only.

How are pricing and lead time set?

Per project, after review: board complexity, component availability, quantities, deliverables, and testing scope. Both are stated in the written quote.
